Site Ohs And Administration Officer

BUSINESS OVERVIEW

Hay Australia prides itself on exporting quality hay to our customers around the world. Working closely with our growers, we produce quality hay for export which we deliver through our robust supply chain network.

We have recently embarked on a phase of rapid growth, which includes the acquisition of four hay processing facilities operating under the Hay Australia brand, making our group a leader in the Australian Export Hay industry. 

Hay Australia is a part of the AgTrade Group which is a livestock, genetics and food security group that owns and operates a diverse group of global export agribusinesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

• Promote and support the sites work health and safety procedures.
• Management of the weighbridge operations including moisture testing, documentation, and data entry.
• General site HR and payroll checking  
• Management of the front desk including all incoming calls.    
• Support Grower Services Manager with documentation.
• Work with contractors and employees onsite to ensure the safety of worksites and work practices.
• Assist with ordering supplies.
• Event management and coordination.  
• Facilitation of general site upkeep.  
• Community engagement.  
• On the ground team support when required.  

PREFERRED SKILLS 

• Experience and knowledge in administration.  
• A willingness to fit into a culture of accountability and become part of a small team with a “can-do” attitude. 
• Self-motivated and physically fit. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate individuals to ensure the company's shared vision and goals are achieved. 
• The ability to create collaborative and productive working relationships with relevant stakeholders.  
• Attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills. 
• Demonstrated experience of Microsoft office suite. 
• Strong problem-solving skills. 

LOCATION 

Located at the northern end of Western Australia's grain growing region, Brookton is approximately 130km east of the Perth. Our business operators seven days a week on a 24/7 rotating roster. This position is a Monday to Friday role and would be suited to a local candidate. There is no accommodation supplied with this position.
