Project Manager - Hydro Power Station Construction

Looking for a highly experienced Project Manager for a Mega Project - 2GW Hydro Power Station Construction!

Phillip Riley Projects has partnered up with a leading player in the renewable energy sector, this company has committed to delivering sustainable solutions for a cleaner future. Our partner company is currently in search of a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager for Power Station Complex construction.
Role Overview:
The responsibilities encompass maintaining the highest health and safety standards, implementing safety plans, and embodying client values. Leading and managing on-site construction activities to meet project objectives, including conducting daily site coordination meetings and optimizing resource levels. Providing management and governance for the Power Station build across multiple disciplines, ensuring contractor compliance with design and construction requirements. Guiding inspections, tests, and remedies to align with the project's best interest. Additionally, overseeing quality management activities, reviewing Inspection and Test Plans, and ensuring compliance with quality requirements. Monitoring progress, reviewing documentation, and collaborating with environmental and safety teams, while regularly providing detailed status reports and leading site status meetings with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess a recognized tertiary degree in Engineering or Construction/Project Management.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, coach, and influence both direct and indirect team members.
• Have experience in managing large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, specifically in hydroPower Station Construction.
• Demonstrate project management, construction, and engineering skills, showcasing the capability to lead projects from inception to completion, considering broader business drivers.
• Exhibit the ability to influence, negotiate, manage, and supervise external contractors and consultants.
• Possess a solid understanding of Quality, WHS (Work Health and Safety), Employment, and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the understanding and management of program and resource planning.
• Exhibit a proven ability to efficiently manage and control project costs.
