The Future Grid customer base is rapidly growing. As part of our Customer Reliability and Support Service division, you will help ensure customer applications are performant.

What you'll do:
- Platform Support: Provide hands-on support for the Future Grid Platform, ensuring its availability, reliability, and scalability.
- System Monitoring: Implement and maintain robust monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues, bottlenecks, and performance anomalies.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot system errors, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance system efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize infrastructure components, including servers, databases, and networking.
- Integration Support: Work closely with team members to ensure the reliability and stability of data integrations between the Future Grid Platform and Electricity Utility systems.
- Scalability: Plan, implement, and test scalability strategies to accommodate the growth of the Future Grid Platform and its integrations.
What you will need to be successful:
Note: We provide full training, a candidate will ideally have experience with:
- 2+ years working in a software company as a developer or similar
- Experience managing customers and support processes
- Be able to triage and address issues on behalf of the customer
- Able to develop and improve support processes and systems to increase automation and, therefore, reliability
IMPORTANT: You will be required to demonstrate your critical thinking skills. We will be skills testing the shortlisted candidates, so if you are good at solving problems and thinking “outside the box, " you can succeed. If you are a process person and require instruction, you should not apply as you will not be successful.
Base Technical Skills Required
- Dev skills e.g. Java, Javascript or similar (you must read code)
- Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana and Loki (all or some)
- CI/CD.
- AWS and or Azure will be beneficial.
- JIRA/confluence.
- Relational Databases and MSSQL skills.
- Basic Unix/Linux
