About the Client
Our newly acquired client is a Global Technology leader in the digital payments industry connecting the digital economy that benefits people, businesses & governments worldwide by making safe transactions.
Securitas NSW is looking for an experienced and skilled Security Supervisor to manage a team of 5 officers and provide exceptional service to this client in North Sydney. Successful applicants will play an important role in ensuring clients' data integrity, intelligence reporting and asset protection.
Position is located in St Leonards, Sydney.
Key Functions performed:
- Minimum 3 years of security experience and at least 1-2 years of Supervisor experience
- IT experience is highly advantageous
- To be able to lead a high-performing and diverse Team of security officers
- Must demonstrate leadership and team-building skills
- Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and client's requirements in order to protect the client’s employees, property and other assets.
- Be involved in and develop stakeholder relationship
- Provide detailed reports on site's operations and shortfalls to the client and Securitas management
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
- Site patrols, Access Control and responding to incidents around the site
- Greeting visitors and employees, issuing keys/cards to authorised contractors and monitoring their activities for safety and compliance.
- Report writing, Microsoft applications, advanced use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Monitor and use CCTV applications, Emergency Management and Fire Systems.
- Be able to coach and mentor direct reports.
Required Competencies/skills:
- Current NSW Security License
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 and HLTAID010) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009
- Strong ability to adapt and adjust quickly to a variety of situations, making well-informed decisions with minimum supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a working command of the English language (both verbal & written)
- Good IT knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Word ,Outlook
- Strong passion for customer satisfaction and sense of ownership.
