The role and team
Join our brand new security team for our healthcare client's state of the art manufacturing facility based in Clayton, starting on 1 August 2024. This role will lead a customer focused team of twenty. Reporting to the Site Security Manager, the Security Supervisor will ensure effective supervision of the Security teams from Control Room Operators, Patrols and Concierge. This role requires high level communication skills as it will see you liaising directly with external and internal stakeholders, maintaining adequate and effective coverage throughout the site and accurate completion of all reports. In this role you will:
- Support the Site Manager in the management and training of staff, standard operating procedures, incident reporting, and staff rosters.
- Manage the daily patrols, including inspection of buildings.
- Review all daily shift logs and incident reports.
- Reporting all incidents to our client's Vice-President of Corporate Security and taking appropriate follow up action.
- Staff development, including identifying individual training needs and providing staff feedback.
- Performing security and emergency response responsibilities as per established procedures and plans.
What we're looking for
- Minimum Certificate III Security Operations
- Current Victorian Security Licence
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Current First Aid & CPR qualifications, or willing to obtain this prior to employment
