Veolia needs an Operations Supervisor who is looking for their next career step in a great company. You will be responsible for the the safe, compliant, customer centric and efficient undertaking of operational activities at our Resource Recovery facilities in Welshpool (3966). You will manage teams to undertake a range of operations, including our Waste Transfer Station, compost distribution and transportation, waste sorting and recovery of recyclables and the baling of plastics and cardboard for export. Your understanding of managing efficient and safe teams and your ability to organise and schedule transfers and transportation will be key in this role. What's on offer

- Manage a culture of safety for all staff and subcontractors
- Reporting on and monitoring of all activity to track increase productivity
- Liaise with the Site Manager on any staff or operational issues
- Manage subcontractors on site
- Relevant supervisory experience in waste management, transport, logistics or a similar operational environment
- Certificate III in Frontline Management or higher very desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant environmental legislation preferred
- Solid experience in driving a safety culture.
