Your new role
As a Site Supervisor, your role involves overseeing construction projects to ensure they run smoothly. Here are some key responsibilities:
- Planning and Organizing: You’ll be responsible for planning and organising construction activities.
- Supervising Construction Workers: As a Site Supervisor, you’ll supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Monitoring Project Progress: You’ll monitor project progress to keep it on schedule.
- Managing Equipment & Supplier Delivery: Part of your role is managing and maintaining construction equipment as well as managing supplier deliveries on site.
- Ensuring Compliance: You’ll inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant Tertiary education or Trade Certificate/ Background
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor with experience in the delivery of custom residential projects – Timber frames and Brick Veneer
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of NSW building codes and regulations.
