Various, highly established home building companies in Melbourne due to growth are recruiting for Site Supervisors across multiple locations in Melbourne at the moment building the following home building project types:

• Volume Detached Home Builders
• KDRB Home Builders
• Medium Density Townhouse Builders
• Custom Home Builders
• High-End Luxury Home Builders

Locations and vacancies available now across all the above project types include:

• Northern Suburbs (Donnybrook, Wollert, Craigieburn)
• Western Suburbs (Plumpton, Melton, Rockbank)
• Western Suburbs (Point Cook)
• Western Suburbs (Truganina, Tarneit)
• South-Eastern Suburbs (Narre-Warren, Berwick, Pakenham, Clyde)
• Geelong

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage a number of new home builds in construction concurrently within the respective type of home build projects listed above
• Up to 12-15 houses in construction at any one time on average
• Combination of single and double-story homes
• Allocate materials and trades to job sites.
• Ensure timely construction of new homes within budget
• Effectively communicate with clients, trades and management in a professional manner.
• Construction of new homes are carried out safely and comply with company processes and procedures. 
• Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of quality
• Maintaining and updating company systems (ClickHome, OnSite Companion)
• Reporting to management regarding onsite activity
• Negotiating with subcontractors and coordinating onsite works
• Identifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process.

Role Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry.
• Tertiary qualifications within building and construction
• Trade background will be highly advantageous
• Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. 
• Proven track record of problem-solving
• Team player
• Excellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages. 
• Commitment to WHS principles and practices
