SITE SUPERVISOR
Rendition Homes is a leading custom and volume builder known for developing aesthetically designed homes and developments with a well-respected brand that has operated in South Australia for more than 30 years. We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team who can work autonomously & collaboratively with a wide range of skill levels.
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity in South Australia for aSite Supervisor who possesses good construction knowledge and has experience in project management of Multi Storey Developments and standalone residential homes.
Reporting to the Building Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of qualified groups of subcontractors to convert client’s contract, schedules and plans into completed dwellings suitable to handover.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A trade qualification within the building industry.
- Experience in the construction field and a proven track record of dealing with multi story development projects would be considered advantageous.
- Previous supervision experience in the building industry will be an advantage.
- Ability to demonstrate an outstanding customer service approach, along with strong people and project management skills.
- Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong focus on quality along with process improvement.
- Tertiary education in Construction Management would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to the building of residential and multi storey homes would be preferable.
- The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner.
About You
It would be considered advantageous if you had:
- Experience in a similar role as a Site Supervisor working across residential projects and medium density & multi unit sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, being able to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group.
- Ability to work well to timelines and complete projects to a high standard.
- A proactive team player with an enthusiastic attitude
- A good knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards
- Up to date knowledge of OH&S and other legislative requirements
- Must hold a current South Australian driver’s licence.
- A stable career history and good reputation
- Well organised with a good personality
