Winter wonderland employment opportunity awaits you at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort 

As a member of the cross-country Ski Patrol team, your day will commence when the sun rises. As you move around the resort, breathing in the fresh crisp air you will have the important task of reviewing and assessing the ski areas and toboggan slopes guaranteeing an incredible day on the slopes for our guests looking to soak up some snow time. If the unfortunate does occur and a guest or employee needs medical assistance your arsenal of incredible skills and ASPA qualifications will provide the comfort and care required to safely retrieve, provide first aid, and evacuate if necessary. 

Nestled only 2 hours from the heart of Melbourne, Lake Mountain has a constant flow of guests flocking to the ski slopes 7 days a week. As a member of our Ski Patrol team, you will work across weekdays and weekends on a 4/3 roster, giving you extra time to enjoy the slopes yourself. 

What amazing skills and experience will score you this role? 

• Current Australian Ski Patroller Certificate (ASPA) or equivalent, or prepared to complete the 4 day ASAP course at one of the designated timeslots listed below:

- Melbourne 13 - 14 April and 20 - 21 April 2024
- Jindabyne: 9 - 12 May 2024

• Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Australian Driver licence
• Demonstrated field experience in first-aid delivery
• Previous Ski Patrol and alpine industry experience will score you 'brownie points'. 
• A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, shine and of course…Snow!
• Available to work weekends and school holidays.
• Available from May to 30 September 2024.

• Additional assessments may apply, such as random drug & alcohol tests.
