As the Smiggins Location Manager you will be central in delivering an exceptional Snowsports experience to children and adult programs, private lessons, school groups and the Snowsports instructor team. Channel your enthusiasm and passion for Snowsports into the overall management of our programs. Oversee program and facility management, lead your Supervising team to manage staff schedules, streamline lesson logistics and respond to guests and employee feedback, to delivery inspiring lessons and a positive guest experience.
In a typical day in this role, you might:
- Provide oversight and supervision of day-to-day operations of the Snowsports school and location products.
- Oversee the operations of the location and facility management.
- Act as a mentor and provide constructive feedback with an emphasis on exceptional guest experience
- Support and foster a culture of excellence in customer service and employee experience
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum level two (2) instructor certification, either an APSI or recognised international equivalent (See ISIA)
- A minimum of five (5) seasons of prior experience as a Snowsports instructor.
- Venue and facility management, supervision and/or team leadership experience (desirable)
- Experience and a passion for working with children from ages 3+
- Proficiency in computer operations and experience with RTP One or FLAIK Resort software will be highly regarded

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September.
Additional InformationOur Snowsports team are employed based on either unlimited or limited availability. You will be able to let us know in your application which option best suits you.
Unlimited availability applicants must be able to commit to working up to 6 days per week for the duration of the winter season.
Limited availability applicants must be able to commit to working for the school holidays and weekends on arrangement with the Snowsports school.
Staff accommodation may be available for successful applicants with unlimited availability. You will be asked to indicate in your application whether you require accommodation.
