Our client is a national high profile marine construction contractor with a solid reputation on successfully delivering challenging marine projects, including the marine piling and structural elements on various resources, infrastructure and industrial projects nationwide.
Due to the award of a marine project south of Perth they have a current requirement for an experienced Project Engineer (Perth or WA based only) with a minimum 6+ yrs heavy civils / lifting / piling experience.
This position requires an individual with a mature approach who can work on their own initiative and assist, when required, with the daily production, QA/QC, OH&S and contracts. Applicants must be able to demonstrate successful delivery of marine, heavy civils or piling projects in a Senior Project Engineering position with previous experience on marine construction an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a high-profile national contractor planning to establish a WA based office.
To be considered for this role you must also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary / Degree educated in civil engineering
- Minimum 6+ yrs piling / Heavy Lifting or marine experience
- Perth / WA based - essential
- Stable employment history
- Demonstrate mature approach
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent organisational & communication skills
- Australian experience essential
