Daisy & Hen began in 2016, and today we are one of Australia's most loved baby & children's multi brand retailers. Our mission is to create joy and connection, through amazing customer experiences and our beautifully curated range of products, each chosen for their function, style and quality. 

We have 4 stores here in Adelaide, as well as a busy Warehouse, which is home to our online store and our HQ (where this role will be based!). It's a collaborative environment, and our team are kind, passionate and supportive.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Daisy & Hen Social Media and Content Manager will be responsible for planning, creating and delivering content across all Social Media accounts. As well as community management, influencer coordination, data analytics and reporting.

We are already well established on Instagram, with our authentic and candid content that entertains, informs and converts. But we are ready to elevate this & our other social platforms *and* it's time for Tik Tok to enter the chat (only a minute late).

You will work within a dynamic, fast paced environment and we have a busy marketing calendar and things move quickly. Your content creation style should be aligned with ours - FUN, authentic, a bit chaotic, relatable and vibrant (just like the lives of our community) with an emphasis on video, story telling, informing, entertaining and converting.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You are passionate about Social Media, with a comprehensive understanding of all platforms and a genuine passion and commitment for staying up to date with industry trends and best practice. You probably had to stop scrolling to read this, right?
  • You're creative and passionate.
  • You have excellent (I-phone) photography and videography skills. We want candid, high quality, fun, engaging and informative videos and photos - please note high end production is not required.
  • You have great eye for visual detail and the ability to create and  identify high quality content. You love colour and feel a connection and affinity to our brand style.
  • You are understand our range of products, and would be genuinely excited to share them with our community. 
  • You have a can do attitude and can effectively manage multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast paced environment, while delivering great work. 
  • You are self motivated and love to learn. The industry moves quickly, so a desire to learn and stay ahead of trends as well as receive feedback and adapt is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Plan and execute a Social Media strategy for all platforms within our existing marketing calendar and business objectives.
  • Create industry leading, on trend Social Media content for all platforms that tells stories, informs, entertains and converts - this role is all about content creation. High end production skills are not required - we are looking for savvy, high quality iPhone content.
  • Connect our range of products and our campaigns with our audience in a way that cuts through the noise of our communities busy Social Media feeds, and connects with them where they are at.
  • Integrate supplier provided content and UGC into your in house content.
  • Work closely with the broader team to ensure a seamless customer experience and brand cohesion across all platforms and touch points (Socials, EDMs, Stores and Website)
  • Write captivating short form copy, in our brand voice to compliment your video and static creative.
  • Strategise and execute giveaway, influencer and UGC.
  • Community engagement on relevant channels, including Facebook groups as required - providing the level of customer service our community expect.
  • Report on and use data and industry trends to make optimisations and recommendations for new Social Media strategy and campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of trends, best practice, emerging technologies, design tools, product knowledge and competitor landscape to ensure we are industry leading and constantly evolving to meet the expectations of our community.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 1-2 years working in a similar role, creating Social Media content for a product or e-commerce business
  • Proven experience and success in creating Social Media content for engagement, growth and conversion.
  • Photography and videography skills including editing (Iphone is a-ok, we are not looking for high end production)
  • A comprehensive knowledge of current best practice for Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
  • Canva and basic graphic design experience  
  • A creative thinker, able to work autonomously and within a team with a can do approach to work.
