Role Overview -
Marlii Lab seeks a dynamic individual with a passion for driving sales and a knack for content creation, ideally with experience in jewellery or luxury fashion. This role is perfect for someone eager to become the social media face of our brand, crafting captivating and engaging content that embodies the spirit of Marlii Lab. You will play a critical role in engaging our audience through the creation of compelling reels and content, focusing on our brand’s ethos of sustainability and luxury.
Key Responsibilities -
- Client Engagement & Sales Closure: Excel in personal client interactions within the boutique, providing exceptional customer service and in-depth product knowledge to enhance the buying experience. Demonstrate the ability to effectively close sales, ensuring that every customer leaves as an ambassador of the Marlii Lab brand.
- On-Camera Confidence: Exhibit strong on-camera presence, confidently representing Marlii Lab in video and photography content across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and engaging in front of the camera, creating content that authentically showcases the brand’s values and products.
- Engaging Content Creation: Develop and upload captivating, entertaining, and engaging content that highlights the uniqueness of Marlii Lab. Utilise storytelling and creative visuals to connect with our audience and enhance brand visibility.
- Sales Management & Innovation: Drive sales through innovative strategies and proactive management. Identify and capitalise on new sales opportunities, continuously seeking ways to expand our customer base and increase brand loyalty.
- Influencer Engagement: Confidently engage with influencers and key stakeholders both online and in person. Build and maintain relationships that promote brand visibility and collaborative opportunities, leveraging influencer networks to reach new audiences.
- Initiative & Independence: Show a high level of initiative and independence in executing tasks. The ability to self-start, think creatively about challenges, and propose solutions that align with the brand’s goals is crucial.
- Creative Sales Opportunities: Demonstrate creativity in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities. Employ out-of-the-box thinking to introduce Marlii Lab products to new markets and customer segments, enhancing brand reach and impact.
- Brand Promotion: Actively promote the Marlii Lab brand through all interactions and content, ensuring that every piece of content aligns with our brand identity and messaging. The role requires a strategic approach to content creation that serves both brand awareness and sales objectives.
Position Details -
- Part-time permanent position.
- 2-3 days per week, with the possibility of full-time. Weekend availability essential, particularly on Saturdays.
Position Requirements -
- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrable experience in sales, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the jewellery or luxury fashion sectors. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly valued.
- Passion for Sustainability and Creativity: A keen interest in sustainability, with the ability to integrate eco-conscious principles into content creation and sales strategies. Creativity in presenting products and the brand's vision through compelling narratives.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging and inspiring customers both online and in-person. The ability to convey the brand's values and product benefits effectively, creating lasting relationships with clients.
- Content Creation Skills: A creative flair for content creation, with proficiency in photography, videography, and editing. Experience in developing content that resonates with target audiences, increasing brand awareness and engagement.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM and e-commerce platforms, such as Monday.com, HubSpot, and Shopify, is preferred. Ability to leverage these tools for sales tracking, customer engagement, and content management enhances operational efficiency.
- Australian Driver’s License: Possession of a current Australian Driver’s License, facilitating travel for client meetings, events, or other brand-related activities as needed.
- Digital Marketing Savvy: Understanding of digital marketing principles and social media trends. Ability to analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies and boost engagement.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment. Openness to feedback and a willingness to share ideas for the brand’s growth.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Ability to adapt strategies and approaches in response to industry trends or target audience shifts.
