We're the first skincare brand just for people with combination skin. And you may have seen our yellow and blue multi-mask all over TikTok and Instagram. We've sold over 25,000 masks, recently appeared on Shark Tank Australia, and are releasing multiple new products this year. It's going to be a big one.
Boring Without You was founded by Davey Rooney (@skincaredavey) and is looking for its first employee with ample opportunity for growth, career development, and incredibly creative work.
THE ROLE:
4-day workweek hybrid role
We are looking for a passionate founding Social Media and Community Specialist to become the first employee at Boring Without You. Reporting directly to Davey, this role is pivotal in consistently driving the digital presence of our brand and fostering meaningful connections within our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Social Media strategies and content creation that elevates brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive business growth.
- Develop and execute comprehensive Social Media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Write, script, and create compelling and visually appealing content for Boring Without You Social Media accounts, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and aesthetics.
- Script, edit, and shoot ad creative for digital marketing campaigns, collaborating with agency partners to optimise performance and drive conversions.
- Assist with the concept and design of promotional digital assets (alongside graphic designer)
- Lead the community strategy for Boring Without You, including managing community pages and fostering meaningful interactions with our community members.
- Cultivate relationships with UGC creators to source and curate user-generated content that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our audience.
- Manage influencer partnerships and campaigns, identify suitable influencers, negotiate collaborations, and monitor campaign performance to maximise ROI and brand exposure.
- Coordinate email marketing efforts, including creating and scheduling email campaigns, segmenting email lists, and analysing performance metrics to optimise engagement and conversions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in Social Media marketing and email marketing to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
ABOUT YOU:
- 3 + years of experience in Social Media marketing or content creation, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry. But don't let this stop you from applying.
- Creative thinker with ideas bursting through your ears and a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Strong understanding of Social Media platforms, algorithms, and trends. Live and breathe a good trend.
- A captivating personality that is comfortable being in front of the camera while also directing content from behind the camera.
- Proficiency in video editing and graphic design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine passion for skincare and beauty.
