Use your skills to support and increase the capacity and effectiveness, particularly in relation to client who experience mental health conditions and who have experienced sexual harassment.
This position is temporary until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension.
What you will do
- Provide short term, holistic, human rights based Social Services supports to clients
- Provide individual crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing a range of vulnerabilities
- Work collaboratively with lawyers who are providing advice and legal representation
About you: The successful candidate will have
- Demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team to provide services to vulnerable clients
- Demonstrated ability to ensure service delivery is appropriate and effective for the participant communities
- Represent LAQ in internal and external forums
