The Social Work Department forms part of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Division of Allied Health and Rehabilitation, delivering a range of high-quality services to patients whose medical care and treatment is being provided throughout the various divisions of across the hospital.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver social work services within the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
This includes:
• Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within an interprofessional context.
• Clinical education, supervision of observational students and allied health assistants, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.
• Participation and contribution to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
