We are actively looking for experienced, skilled, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing compassionate assistance to individuals with diverse and complex support needs, involving personal care, household tasks, and community engagement. Your responsibilities will extend to facilitating participants in acquiring independent living skills, thereby enhancing their quality of life within both home and community settings.
Previous experience working with individuals with challenging backgrounds is highly desirable.
Ability to adapt to varying schedules and provide support during regular hospital appointments.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Demonstrated sensitivity, patience, and respect for individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs.
A confident and empathetic personality with a good sense of humor to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation is required.
