SalaryAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Social Worker - Advanced (Team Leader Child Advocacy) to join the Paediatric Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. Your opportunity:
- Provide operational leadership to the multidisciplinary staff of the Fraser Coast Child Advocacy Team.
- Provide advanced and expert clinical practice, advice, consultation, supervision and authoritative counsel to the Child Advocacy Team and broader multidisciplinary teams and managers across Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS).
- Provide high level strategic and clinical leadership in Child Advocacy services, including the provision of advanced clinical coordination and consultation with a range of internal and external child protection stakeholders responsible for the delivery of Child Advocacy and safety services.
Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme ( https://www.careers.health.qld.gov.au/working-for-us/workforce-attraction-incentive-scheme )
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $167,587 p.a., comprising salary between $140,767 - $146,883 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
