The position will be an integral member in the planning, development and implementation of educational and promotional activities and materiel which are aimed at prevention and early intervention for better health outcomes.This role may be eligible for the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive. See link -To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge in the management and delivery of Primary Health Care – including primary clinical care and community care services in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander remote setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples and ability to apply this understanding into the provision of health care delivery.
- Advanced communication and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural environment in a health service delivery setting.

Requirements for the role:- Diploma in Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
