• Full time or part time permanent based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus
• Flexible roster (option of shorter workdays to suit your work life balance) in our supportive and collaborative Social Work team
• Be part of the supportive and collaborative Social Work department, and the large multi-disciplinary Allied Health team in General Medicine.

• Provide sound social work service in the General Medicine wards including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning.
• Utilise your skills and knowledge in relation to relevant community providers, communicating between patients and caregivers.
• Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff, and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services and information.
• Enjoy the support and guidance of professional supervision, to further develop your skills and achieve your career goals.

• You have demonstrated hospital experience with a collaborative approach.
• You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
• You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• You value working with supportive and dedicated health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
