Your opportunity: The Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services (WBMHSS) New Graduate Program based in Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is a one-year (12 month) graduate training program specifically for allied health new graduates in Social Work with less than two years of post-qualifying experience. These specific graduate level positions provide a positive transition to professional practice experience specifically in Mental Health, enhancing the capabilities of the allied health junior workforce. The WBMHSS New Graduate Program requires the participant to rotate through four clinical settings during their one year in the Program. 2 x Temporary Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough). From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB).
