Our Journey - Older Adult Mental Health Services
Older Adult Mental Health provide services of assessment and treatment for people over the age of 65 years, who have a psychiatric disability and or dementia with associated behaviours of concern requiring treatment.
About You
You enjoy working in a fast paced rapidly changing environment in a recently formed team. You have a passion for Older Adult mental health and/or in meeting the needs of residents in Psychogeriatric Nursing Homes. You have a strong commitment to exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for your consumers. You are a highly experienced Occupational Therapist or Social Worker who can demonstrate competence in risk management and in coordinating care that addresses complex psychosocial issues.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills, you are an active listener and possess well developed negotiation and influencing abilities that will be used in working with patients, and internal and external stakeholders.
