Position Summary
The Social Work Team Leader will provide operational leadership and coordination of clinical services to support the Social Work team, the broader Allied Health multidisciplinary team and the Senior Program Manager.
This includes the provision of clinical supervision and professional guidance, the coordination of Social Work referral allocation and the maintenance of a clinical caseload.
Requirements of the position are:
Mandatory:
- Bachelor of Social Work
- Eligibility for membership of Australian Association of Social Workers
- Current driver’s licence
- Valid Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- NDIS worker screening check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
- Flu Vaccination
- Experience across a variety of Social Work practice areas
- Proven ability to provide professional standard leadership and direction to a team
- Demonstrated training and experience in professional supervision with a commitment to provide regular supervision to Social Work team members
- Ability to monitor, maintain and review Social Work referral systems
- Proven understanding of psychosocial issues, and the under-pinning structural and systemic causes and application of a range of Social Work models
- Understanding of the quality improvement model
