Steel Sheds Australia is a leading designer and manufacture of steel framed buildings and storage solutions. Steel Sheds Australia is focussed on servicing Australian consumers in new and innovative ways, to ensure we exceed their expectations.
The successful applicant for this role will be a team player, that is ready for the next step in their career and able to add value to our team. The role is multi-faceted and varying. This role is being offered as 6 months contract full-time, with potential of extension or conversion to permanent full-time.
Main duties will include but not limited to:
- Development of Web Applications
- Development of Desktop Applications for Windows
Required Skills and Experience:
- Computer Science, IT or software development degree (or related)
- Experience in Web Development Technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, .NET.
- Experience working with relational databases e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Experience in Microsoft .NET C#/VB.NET development.
- Understanding of cloud-based system development experience, e.g. Azure (desired)
- Responsive and pro-active approach
- Commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
- Passion for learning
- Sound communication skills
- Proven ability working within a team environment.
Highly Desirable:
- Knowledge of Syteline or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of Steel Buildings
- Construction, Manufacturing, or closely related industry experience
- Knowledge of steel manufacturing and fabrication
