Form of workWe’re currently searching for a new Business Systems Developerto join our growing team.
The focus of this role is the development of our internal Business Systems. Working as part of a small team you will have an opportunity to be part of the entire software development cycle. You will use your system design and developer skills to transform business needs into working software solutions. We are an agile team working with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint and other specialist software.
You won’t ever be bored, nor your skills and talents underutilised, and you’ll have a fantastic and unique opportunity to work across our business on a wide variety of exciting business system projects. As a member of our Business Systems team, you will:
- Engage and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to provide expertise and ensure our company-wide systems are cohesive;
- Contribute to the design, configuration and development of our internal business applications;
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for internal Business Systems;
- Develop, use and enhance our customer management software, enterprise resource planning systems, and internal systems and technologies and liaise with vendors;
- Work with the Business Improvement team to implement system enhancements and organisational initiatives; and
- Proactively contribute to the team to promote quality and continuously improve our internal processes.
We believe our ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Graduate qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in software development cycle including requirements, design, develop, test, and implementation (3-5 years preferred with interest in design).
- Experience with web development technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skill.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem solving both independently and collaboratively.
- A positive attitude, be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Development experience in Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, C#, Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio 2019+ is highly desirable.
- Azure FunctionApps, Service Bus and related infrastructure, JavaScript, Xrm Toolbox is desirable.
- Occasional travel to participate in team and go live activities.
