We are seeking an experienced full stack web and mobile app developer to join our Noosa team. This full-time permanent position is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is looking to forge a long-term career within the thriving inflation and mass management industry. As the sole Software Developer at Airtec you will mainly work independently within our small team environment and with external contractors to develop and improve Airtec’s web platform and mobile application products. Reporting to the Director and Senior Electronics Engineer you will play a key role in shaping the software systems that underpin our product line.
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Experience with Flutter or developing and deploying mobile applications on both iOS/Android (Either through native or cross platform technologies)
- Proficiency with PHP, Laravel and VueJS
- Experience with AWS tools such as S3, EC2, EBS and RDS.
- Experience optimising CI/CD technologies such as Github Actions
- Implement well-structured testable code aligned to existing product architecture
- Review and debug live application code using implemented error tracking tools
- Assist staff with customer facing enquiries, establishing a sound knowledge of all Airtec products and their technological abilities
Application Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of commercial experience in software development
- High level of competence in problem solving
- A self-driven personality with the ability to deliver autonomously and as part of a team
- Time management skills to adhere with multiple tasks/deadlines
- Effective communication skills and an openness to ask for help/guidance when needed
