The Role
DataMTX is working with various clients on innovative technology and transformation programs. We are seeking talented technical resources with development, programming, and Software Engineering skills to support this. Due to the nature of the programs, all candidates must be Australian Citizens and able to hold, maintain or obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.
These roles require qualified resources with experience in software development on medium to large Integration projects, with an ability to work with various stakeholders to solve complex project problems. These are technical 'hands-on' roles designing and developing inspired integration solutions for our Clients.
In summary, the role includes
• Collaborating with business analysts, solution architects, and technical leads to review the functional specifications and document the integration requirements
• Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment using Agile methodology
• Developing integration design document and interface specification
• Developing integration interfaces, applying the integration design patterns (Real-time and Batch) and best practices
• Focusing on root cause analysis of integration issues and providing the appropriate fixes to resolve it
• Perform software prototypes, investigations, research and development
• Performing peer code reviews and sharing knowledge with team members
• Integrate and deployment of complex systems using DevOps practices
• Software development covering Java, C#, Spring, ReactJS, TypeScript, Python, JaveScript, Linux and SQL
• Contribute to software design, documentation, development, integration, test and release/deployment
• Contribute to sprint planning and estimation, status monitoring and reporting
What we are looking for:
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and associated methodologies
• Experience in integration with external applications RESTful APIs, along with deep understanding and knowledge of HTTP, MQ, SFTP, SOAP, Integration protocols, JSON and XML;
• Experience in applying integration design patterns and best practices;
• Edge technologies like NoSQL, Kafka, Docker, Swarm and Kubernetes; and
• Experience with Microservice architecture, knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools
• and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, git)
• Experience in Linux and Windows
• Knowledge and application of a broad range of skills, including software, systems and enterprise architecture, Software Engineering and integration
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Strong communication, presentation and client engagement skills
