Axxin is seeking an engineering or science graduate with some software experience or background to join our development team.
This is a documentation and administration role, not coding and the successful candidate will support the software group in projects for specification, testing, release, and descriptions, including working on administration and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
The role will involve working within a multidisciplinary team, creating and managing a range of technical documents, reports, and process designs including release documents, technical descriptions procedures and diagrams. The successful candidate will be well organised, self motivated and enthusiastic about written communication, and have be able to review some code and operate in a software Jira administration system.
The position will report to the Software Manager and require working with software and project leads across the company.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Software Engineering Team working within a medical device product group.
The role involves working on projects across various stages of the development lifecycle. Tasks include:
- Planning and Administration, including sporting reviews of JIRA database projects lists.
- Specifications and requirements drafting and coordination
- Technical documentation, reports and SOP writing
- Verification and production validation activities
- Project planning and coordination
- Risk management activities
- Customer interaction
Candidates with experience in the above areas will be considered favourably.
Professional Requirements
Graduate qualifications in Software, Engineering or Science with some experience in a software environment.
Experience in C, C++ or C# software considered favourably.
Demonstrated capabilities in technical documentation.
Experience in specification, documentation, administration, QMS systems, verification, validation and Systems Engineering or projects considered favourably.
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
The successful applicant will have attention to detail, and will be creative, self motivated and able to work to deadlines and schedules.
Strong computer literacy in Word, Excel, Illustrator and drawing packages required.
Must be an Australian citizen or have Australian resident status at the time of application.
