Job Description:
Taw-Con is seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer (Software) to join our dynamic team. As a Defence Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and strategic solutions to enhance our clients' capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Defence and Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering results.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation and support to Mandated System Reviews (MSR)
- Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
- System Safety Working Groups (SSWG)
- Development of solutions for technical issues and risks relevant to the Boxer CRV variant.
- Prepare technical reports, briefs and official project correspondence relevant to areas of responsibility
- Progression of Engineering Changes relevant to areas of responsibility. Experience in CMT-L beneficial
- Management of contracted requirements relevant to areas of responsibility. Experience in DOORS beneficial.
Experience & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- Formal engineering qualification (form an institution recognised by Engineers Australia) to attain the appropriate Technical Authority
- Detailed knowledge and proficiency in executing tasks within an Engineering Management framework
- Good understanding of the Defence Capability Life Cycle and Defence Systems Engineering process
- Experience in developing and reviewing technical/engineering artefacts and documentation
- AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum).
- Systems Engineering (Software) experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
