Software Trainer / Teacher: Customer Support & Onboarding

Based in Hobart, Tasmania, Myfoodlink is the leading independent online shopping platform for grocery and liquor in Australia and New Zealand. Our platform powers hundreds of online stores for groups like Bottlemart and FoodWorks, as well as many individual IGAs and specialty food stores. You will be part of the friendly, growing team based in our stylish, top-floor Hobart office.

We are seeking an individual with highly transferable skills, ideally from a teaching or training background, in the classroom or the workplace.

Would suit an experienced teacher looking for a career change into a customer-focused learning environment.

This role is 100% office-based, with customer communication via phone, email and virtual meetings.

We will prioritise applications that contain answers to the following questions:

1. What makes you an effective teacher/trainer?
2. What do you enjoy about teaching/training?

• Provide training to customers via Zoom
• Follow documented processes to onboard customers to new features
• Provide support to customers via support desk, by email, Zoom and phone calls
• Take responsibility for store group ecommerce and other feature roll-outs
• Become an expert in the Myfoodlink ecommerce platform
• Assist with documenting online solutions for Myfoodlink knowledge base

• 3+ years software support, teaching  or training experience (primary, secondary, tertiary  or vocational)
• Excellent IT skills (software applications only - no coding is required for this role)
• Ability to quickly form a solid understanding of new concepts and technologies
• Adept at communicating technical concepts to non-technical users
• Truly excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work well with others in a close team environment
• Proactive when managing own projects
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing excellent customer experiences
• Exposure to/experience with different e-commerce software would be beneficial
• Experience with Mac OS preferred but not essential
