The role:
They are actively seeking a Business Development Manager to sell their chemical products and solutions across diverse sectors, including mining, industrial, agricultural, and municipal government. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working proactively to identify and monitor new business opportunities across Victoria.
- Pursuing and following up on new leads/referrals generated from the sales team
- Overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Cultivate and oversee relationships with current clients, evaluate existing contracts and pinpoint opportunities for upselling.
- Participate in networking events to enhance brand awareness and expand market presence within your territory.
- Staying informed about the latest industry trends and the market positioning of competitors.
Skills and experience needed:
- Proven track record of success in a Business Development Management role, preferably within the water industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and stay informed about product knowledge and industry developments.
Salary Expectations
$100,000 - $130,000 + Super + Company Car + Comms
