We are now looking for a Soil Technician to join our team on a full-time permanent basis for our Central Coast region.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Facilitate the operation of Field based Drilling Rigs (mechanical auger/hand auger)
- Undertake Geotechnical site investigations
- Preparation and extraction of samples
- Calibrate and maintain equipment as required
- Conduct fieldwork in accordance with Intrax field requirements
- Follow all SWMS, OHS procedures and take part in the statutory safety requirements
- Liaise and consult with the Project Engineers and Managers
- Organising your day efficiently and effectively under changing conditions
To be eligible for this role, you will need:
- 1 year work experience in a similar role (Preferable, but not essential)
- Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards (Preferable but not essential)
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc).
- Capable for carrying out physical work in the field
- An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines
- 4WD and trailer driving experience essential
- Full and valid driver’s license
