Solicitor with preferably one years hands on experience in the carriage of all residential conveyancing. Experience in commercial property law and commercial leases an advantage. Candidates MUST HAVE a thorough knowledge of Contract and Real Property Law and Conveyancing/PEXA procedure OR be amenable to intensive training. Working directly under a partner in an open and friendly working environment, you will grow with our firm.
We are a close knit team of 7 Solicitors and three support staff, you will find us a friendly crew. You will need to have a friendly & flexible disposition and be people friendly. Above all we are seeking candidates who can apply common sense.Commercial Law and generalist experience an advantage. The firm has run matters up to full hearings before the High Court and Court of Appeal. Opportunity for lateral transfer to our Franchising team and equity/Wills litigation teams for the correct candidate.
Knowledge of Word and other MS programs would be an advantage. Working knowledge of another language including Korean will also be an advantage.
The position will be offered subject to a probation period on an annual contract subject to renewal. This position also carries an opportunity to become a generalist in areas that may interest the candidate; eg Franchise Law, Family Law, Wills/probate litigation and even Criminal Law
This position may also suit near graduate or law student on a Part Time basis. More than one position may become available.
