About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Technology team in new role focused on supporting enhancements and uplifting our platforms across the business. This role will keep you busy, challenged every day and working on some genuinely interesting and exciting projects!

Our Solution Architect will help to define the detailed technology solutions for transformation processes and support us in designing the future state of our systems.  This is a rare opportunity to involved in the end-to-end project delivery. This role can be based in our national support offices in either Melbourne or Perth and we embrace hybrid working for our teams.

What's involved:

• Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders (functional and technical) at varying levels to understand requirements and develop end-to end Solution Architectures
• Understand all elements of the platforms across the business and support the delivery team in understanding considerations of this in-line incoming requests
• Ensuring the solution for business request aligns to strategic requirements of the business, and raising awareness around technical debt or risks

Who we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who has a strong technical understanding of ERP platforms across a large business. Coupled with your technical skills, you will bring exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of senior level stakeholders (technical and non-technical) with confidence across the varying stages of the software development life cycle.

You'll need:

• Degree qualified with strong experience in Solution Architecture and design
• Previous experience working with a large ERP, ideally Oracle with experience across Oracle Fusion or Oracle Cloud being highly regarded
• The ability to translate technical complexity into business language and clarify the technical impact of business requirements, influencing design decisions to meet the desired outcome
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience within a retail environment would be highly desired
• Experience across other platforms such as UKG, Workday or Blueyonder would be highly advantageous
