The Solution Architect – SAP ERP will work with customers across ERP and the Digital transformation landscape and be well versed in SAP S/4HANA, other SAP offerings.

A broad range of knowledge is expected including an understanding of SAP S/4HANA as the digital core along with innovation and extensibility through the full SAP product suite including RISE with SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP BTP, The rapidly expanding cloud products as well as other modern technologies, being able to confidently present their business value to our customers.

The Solution Architect will work closely with our customers and NTT DATA Innovation, Sales, Delivery & Client Services teams (Delivery & AMS) to ensure successful business outcomes via delivery of quality solutions to our customers.

Your day at NTT

• Develop and create business solutions which take into consideration customers’ business strategy, information, applications and technology.
• Design solutions in line with Solution Architecture methodologies and standards and identify solution components (e.g. suppliers, tasks, and responsibilities) including interfaces and integration to meet the customers’ business requirements.
• Work closely with the sales teams to craft high-quality solution proposals (e.g. RFI, RFT, RFQ responses) and Statements of Work (SoW)
• Work with customers to create continuous improvement opportunities such as introducing new SAP modules, enhancements or upgrades to address their business requirements, identify potential training and business process improvements
• Provide expert advice on specific SAP systems and applications such as best practice and cross-functional solutions
• Lead business decision workshops and presentations
• Develop strong customer relationships to become the trusted advisor and the key point of contact from a solutions perspective
• Lead and guide a team of SAP consultants on customer engagements to meet key deliverables and ensure the integrity of the solution

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Governance and Strategy
• Significant (10+ years) SAP ERP experience with a broad Finance and Controlling (FICO) background that is aligned with relevant industry and business process expertise
• An understanding of S/4HANA on premise and on cloud, and other cloud platforms such as S/4 Public Cloud & SAP BTP.
• Ability to articulate to customers differentiators and relevant benefits of the latest technologies i.e. S/4HANA, BTP, Signavio.
• Experience in delivering SAP, and SAP aligned, products throughout multiple projects phases.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups and individuals at management level.
