Your new role:

Due to the rapid growth of the organisation and the acknowledgment that technology is a key enabler of their future, Anglicare have retained u&u Recruitment Partners to recruit two new permanent Solution Architect roles, reporting to their GM, Strategy & Architecture. The roles would suit a Solution Architect looking for more purpose and the ability to give back to a cause greater than shareholder return. You'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and robust solutions with modern technologies across the entire stack (SaaS, integration, data, security, infrastructure) to address complex business challenges across Anglicare and align to their IT transformation strategy and overall enterprise architecture.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing and understanding business requirements;
• Leading the design and development of comprehensive solutions that meet business needs while considering factors such as automation, scalability, security, and performance;
• Working closely with project managers to estimate efforts, plan project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions within specified timeframes;
• Provide supervision and guidance to development and testing teams;
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed;
• Inform and guide various stakeholders on any issues and risks with technical solutions being implemented;
• Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have and put forward recommendations; and
• Assist with updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets.

Your Background and Experience:

• 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect on complex, end-to-end across technology stacks in complex environments;
• In-depth work on SaaS, Cloud (Azure) and On-prem based solutions;
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and development methodologies;
• In depth experience in security architecture standards and best practices;
• Strong knowledge across various operating systems, applications, databases and networks;
• Certifications in one or more Cloud vendor offerings preferred.;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decisions when required;
• You will be passionate about innovation and helping to solve business challenges through emerging technology; and
• Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly and trustworthy personality.
