Flexible location: Port Melbourne or Mascot, Sydney
A new opportunity for a Solutions Business Analyst to join our IT Global Forwarding team, where you will engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure that the client’s organisational objectives are understood through the analysis and synthesis of information.
With a key focus on executing strategic plans, business model analysis, process design and systems analysis, your adaptable and strong stakeholder engagement skills will ensure that the business feels supported.
Key responsibilities include:

• Provide support to business and customer on the existing integration interfaces and reports
• Collaborate and work with cross functional teams to take new project (EDI Integration project or Reporting Project) from feasibility through to detailed design, implementation, testing and go live.
• Understand and define business needs and translating them into business processes and system needs (process mapping, requirement gathering, scoping).
• Maximise profitability by linking management goals and standards with the practical means of achievement in a high impact operation or area of the business which drives significant improvement in profitability.
• Identify benefits associated with particular pieces of work, operational dependencies, and establish appropriate proposals to clearly articulate the requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects (5+ years’ experience).
• Experience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators in country, regional and possibly globally
• Experience in translating business requirements in to a 'fit for purpose' solution
• Ensuring accurate understanding of business case development and benefits realisation is consistently done by the team
• Demonstrated experience in conducting business process re-engineering and business requirements analysis
• Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation
• Experience in CW1 & Freight Forwarding experience.
• Intermediate MS SQL skill is required
• Experience in Power BI, Devops, Azure Synapse, MS Purview, Azure Integration Service would be an advantage
• Exposure to EDI messages, API, UiPath, Power Apps will be preferred

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
• IIBA Certification CBAP or comparable experience desirable
• PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 /PMBOK or equivalent certification desirable
