Role Purpose Aesop are seeking a driven and passionate Solution Architect to join our high performing Global Technology Strategy & Architecture function, based in our beautiful and purpose-built head office in Collingwood. This is an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract. As a member of the Technology Strategy and Architecture team, the Supply Chain Solutions Architect plays a critical role in our organization, responsible for architecting and implementing functionality within our Supply Chain & ERP solutions tailored to the unique needs of our retail and wholesale operations. This role focuses on optimizing business processes, entry into new markets, new developments in our Supply Chain. Key responsibilities:Lead and oversee the successful change to our Supply Chain Solutions, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with retail and wholesale processes.Provide technical guidance and architectural expertise to the Digital Data & Technology (DD&T) teams, ensuring solutions are designed and implemented according to industry best practices.Consult with DD&T Product Teams and stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of objectives, solution landscape, business and technology requirements for all strategic, project and operational initiativesLiase with external vendors and partners to ensure that solutions are effectively tailored to the retail industry.Oversee the integration of supply chain and ERP system, ensuring data flows seamlessly to support supply chain processes, such as procurement, logistics, and inventory management.Provide timely and cohesive architecture deliverables for domain systemsProvide expert input on design options, implementation opportunities and constraints, platform update and maintenance requirements, including quality, security and compliance obligationContribute to the operation and development of the Aesop Solution Architecture practiceWhat we are looking for You will have a strong background in Solution Architecture, as well as:Experience designing, building and integrating enterprise solutions/applications with modern multi-region cloud based technology solutions, across multiple cloud vendors and services, including integration with enterprise identity and access management services.Commercial experience delivering technology platforms, ensuring legal and security compliance, addressing any solution architecture concerns such as availability, scalability, performance, security, maintainability and operability.Deep retail domain and technology experience Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.8 years technology experience, with a minimum of 3+ years as a Solutions Architect in a retail environmentArticulate, composed under pressure, with excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to produce high quality architecture artefacts and deliverables.Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.Comfortable working in cross-functional Waterfall and Agile delivery environments.Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or other ERP's within-depth knowledge of configuration, functionality and integration.Proficiency in supply chain management concepts, including procurement, master data, sales, warehousing, logistics, demand planning and order fulfillment. Strong understanding of how these integrate to point-of-sale and warehouse management solutionsStrong commitment to documentation in an asynchronous working and timezone agnostic teams.
