The Cloud Solutions Architecture (CSA) chapter is seeking passionate individuals with a strong background in solution architecture and engineering, who are eager to learn and can lead themselves and others through ongoing change. As a member of our team, you will help ANZ transition to a simplified infrastructure architecture that is built for the future.
At CSA, we deliver robust, scalable, reliable, and secure solution architecture that is aligned to ANZ standards. Working closely with customer architects (TAA) and engineering teams, we develop end-to-end infrastructure architecture and design that spans both cloud and on-prem. We are the front face for all Cloud, Data, and Infrastructure Services (CDIS) platform capabilities and services, helping customers to consume what is required to meet their technical and business requirements. We deliver a critical function of supporting teams with their architecture alignment to standards and approvals through the required governance forums.

What will your day look like
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, designers, and application team SMEs
- Become the trusted technical advisor to customer teams and help them navigate their application hosting journey (Cloud and on-prem)
- Champion and voice the customer within CDIS
- Develop Logical View Diagrams and other artifacts aligned with the governance process
- Work in collaborative teams to develop highly scalable, stable, and secure solution architecture for applications
- Learn and keep up to date with the latest capability offerings from CDIS and industry
- Exemplify collaboration, continual learning, and improvement within the Technology Area and the Engineering Chapter culture
- Lead chapter and analysts to inspire next level thinking, exploration of alternative approaches and abstract problem solving
- Contribute to wider communities, meetups, and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices
- Provide technical leadership and help solve problems through innovative thinking
- Strive to automate everything in sight
- Estimate, plan and deliver solutions as part of strategic and initiatives
- Challenge the status quo and deliver above-expectation outcomes
What will you bring?
Specialised Skills
- We are looking for multi-discipline individuals across these skillsets:
- Significant experience in Public Cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure) in an architecture capacity
- Significant experience and knowledge of infrastructure architecture (cloud and on-prem technology stacks)
- Highly desirable, professional-level cloud certification e.g., AWS or GCP Architect Professional
- Proven track record in architecture work
- Experience in Architecture tooling e.g., Diagramming tools
- Experience in architecture governance processes
- Experience in architecture standards e.g., cloud-native, hybrid, private cloud, micro-service etc.
- Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks e.g., TOGAF
- Over 10+ years of experience at a hands-on engineering level
- Over 5 years of experience in architecture or senior/lead engineering functions
- Solid understanding of infrastructure technologies (cloud and on-prem) e.g., servers, storage, virtualization, containers, integration, and middleware etc.
