Sonographer: $75-$99 /hr based on experience ( conditions apply)
About the Role
Kippax medical Imaging is currently looking for a qualified Sonographer, preferably proficient in Breast and Obstetric studies.
Provide and interpret a range of medical imaging examinations for diagnosis and management of medical conditions for patients/clients of the Medical Imaging department and optimizing diagnostic quality whilst maintaining patient dignity, and under infection control guidelines.
This will occur within the principles of care coordination, where patients/clients/residents have access to a highly coordinated health care and community support system
Awards will be based on Experience.
Part-Time (1 or 2 day a week ) position offered.

Selection Criteria
- Holder of Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography or equivalent.
- Hold current ASAR registration and accreditation.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in Paediatric, Musculo-skeletal, small part and general sonography.
- Demonstrated use of effective communication skills, ability to provide a quality service to all levels of personnel and customers.
- Demonstrate clinical reasoning skills in the performance of sonographic procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges involved in working in a remote area.
- Current driver's licence.
- Full work rights in Australia with no restrictions
Jr Radiographer
Job Description
A fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Radiographer to join a leading private imaging provider in Canberra location has opened up. This provider uses state of the art equipment and you will be working alongside some of the most supportive and experienced Radiology staff in the radiology business. Your personal and professional development is taken care.
Requirements:
- Full AHPRA Registration
- ACT Radiation Licence
- CT Highly Desirable but if have no CT experience ,Our experienced Radiographer will train you (*conditions apply)
- Ability to make decisions and work without any pressure

Responsibilities
- Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols within nominated timeframes
- Understand nursing procedures for the patients examined and the procedures for medical emergencies, infection control and interventional techniques
- Work alongside Radiologists to perform procedures and to assist them as required.
- Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
- Familiarity with RIS/PACS system to ensure accurate information is entered that reflects the correct service details provided to patients.
- Treat all patients with care, compassion, dignity and respect at all times and without compromise
- Undertake continuing education to ensure maintenance of skills and the ability to adopt newly developed techniques in medical imaging

Receptionists/ Admin
The Role
Along with providing exceptional customer service, your daily duties will include:
- Reception, welcoming and processing patients
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Following up medical information with various third parties
- Managing telephone enquiries
- Supporting Doctors
- Working with Radiographers/ Sonographers & Radiologists
- Patient information data entry
- General reception duties
Skills and experience
As first point of contact for our patients, we require the following:
- A professional, patient and courteous manner
- Excellent articulation and telephone manner
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Strong multitasking capabilities
Experience in a medical imaging environment is an advantage but not essential.
