The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are:
To lead the state Store Support Team with the company goal of balancing stock management and reducing excess stock at stores in specified state
To visit stores across the CW Retail Services Group to assess their compliance with company standards
To supervise the setup of new and existing Chemist Warehouse stores and ensure all new stores are operational by opening date
To initiate and devise Store Support programs, including staff training in-store operations, compliance, and merchandising
The person must be comfortable with:

Working and liaising with people from a diverse range of multicultural backgrounds
Leading a team in a goal setting environment
This position will supervise all junior roles within their respective state team, including:
Store Support Officer (Interstate)
Store Support Coordinator (Interstate) Store Support Senior Coordinator (Interstate)
Functional responsibilities
STORE OPERATIONS & SUPPORT
Assist Stores with Stock Rationalisation monthly
Train stores with the Store Development ordering program
Train store staff in general merchandising, compliance, and catalogue execution, using SOS training support documents
Co-ordinate audits and rollouts of new instore initiatives set out by the Store Projects team
Identify issues within the store's operations procedures and provide solutions and training in-store to implement positive changes
COMPLIANCE
Assessing each store is complying with company standards for Stock Management, Catalogue & Promotional Execution and merchandising
Working with the Owner, Store Manager, Retail Manager or 2IC come to an agreed score for the store
Report back on follow up notes and results to state managers, Store Support Manager (Interstate), Store Support Manager (Compliance) and Store Operations & Support Manager
STORE SETUPS OR RELAYS
Liaise with the Store Projects team with information in the lead up to store projects
Supervise setups and relays and manage both the SOS team and store-level teams
Execute all planograms, catalogue, compliance and general merchandising with speed/accuracy
Work to achieve a store set up, to a high standard by delivering this by the deadline (dictated by the store opening date)
Coordinate Store Support and training to new stores during their first two weeks of trading
Teamwork and Relationships
Work closely with Store Operations & Support department, state managers, owners and head office to deliver exceptional services across the business
Create strong relationships with all stores, DCs, departments and their management and staff
Demonstrate teamwork and good communication
General Responsibilities
Ensure that the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality is always maintained and practices are in line with relevant legislation.
As and when required, undertake additional projects or activities as directed by management
Provide quality information to the Store Support Manager (Interstate) and Store Operations & Support Manager in all areas
Take all reasonable care for their own and others safety
Able to train and test staff
Qualifications and Experience
At least 2-3 years’ in the Store Support Coordinator role, or similar experience
Advanced experienced with My Retail Manager Reporting systems as well as a strong knowledge of current ordering procedures at store level
Experience with ALT-V and COGNOS reporting programs
Ability to train staff
Sound problem-solving ability, analytical and numeracy skills
Strong IT Skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Access
Personal Attributes
Ability to lift heavy objects when required
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing environment
