Position Overview:
We are seeking a team of qualified professionals such as accountant, Tax Accountant, Business Manager or Client Service Manager to join our dynamic team.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
- Manage the preparation of Activity Statements (BAS)
- Oversee bookkeeping and payroll management using the Xero software platform and associated apps
- Liaise with the Tax Office, ASIC, and other government agencies
- Drive client-facing interactions, providing advisory services and building long-term client relationships
- Show motivation and initiative to develop as a well-rounded accountant who looks beyond compliance to deliver value-added services
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 -3 years of public practice experience in a similar role
- Commenced or completed CPA qualification (negotiable)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with XERO and Microsoft products (essential)
- Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients - You will be dealing directly with clients
- High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
