A warm welcome awaits you at CDC Queensland.
CDC Queensland is fortunate to be part of one of the largest land transport companies in the world whilst still maintaining our unique identity in Central Queensland. By identity, we mean our people – a diverse community coming together to care for children with Special Needs and to proudly drive a CDC bus.
We are a close-knit bunch in our bus world at CDC Gladstone. We respect and support one another as we assist local families and their children to travel safely to and from school daily. Children with Special Needs benefit greatly from consistent routine, reliability, and regularity in their lives. This is why our Bus Drivers and Carers, interchangeable roles, are carefully selected and supported to undertake this vital work. If you share a passion for driving, fancy a downshift from a stressful career, or need extra income as you approach retirement, you can join our team too.
We make recruitment easy for you. CDC will organise registrations and licence upgrades for free while providing you with the support to obtain your driver’s authorisation so you can operate our fleet of buses. As a bus driver or carer with us, lifelong friendships are formed, and you would be a welcome and valued addition to our team.
We offer flexible work tailored to your needs.
Joining our professional and award-winning bus-driving family provides the ultimate flexibility as your work revolves around school terms and split shifts from Monday to Friday. Our operations are specially designed so you can optimise your earning potential with other urban or charter services while striking the right balance between work commitments and family, lifestyle, and other community interests.
A market leader in modern safety technology, CDC is proud to operate custom-built minibuses that enable easy boarding for anyone with Special Needs, providing comfort and protection in all weather.
Remember, if you have yet to drive a bus or would like to be a carer, we will pay you well while providing extensive on-the-job training to make you very confident, safe, and accomplished in your work for our company.
