About your new Role
As the IT Operations specialist you will report into our IT Security and Operations Manager and be based in Zetland 3 days a week in office and spend 2 from home. This position will be responsible for IT Services delivery and assists with the IT operations of both on premises and cloud IT infrastructure, networks, and services for VGA, covering all locations/sites in Australia.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Provide effective IT Services delivery and support in line with SLA, policies and regulations
· Ensure effective business continuity and IT Service management
· Maintain and manage client devices, user accounts and ensure asset management for VGA
· Support the installation, system updates, upgrades, migrations and on-going administration and maintenance of all the company IT infrastructure
· Assist in implementing continuous improvements in IT networks and other infrastructure in line with Group IT guidelines and regulations
· Operate the procure to pay process for all IT Operations related budget including hardware, software, licenses, and services
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:
· Qualification or certification within IT or equivalent hands on experience.
· Extensive hands on experience within IT Infrastructure technologies, networks and end user computer services
· Cloud training or certification preferred (ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, Azure etc.)
· Demonstrated experience within Microsoft environments, enterprise networking and cloud/SaaS platforms (Azure/AWS, O365 etc.)
· Excellent understanding of the latest IT technology and standards
· Demonstrated ability to learn business processes and operations to ensure technical solutions and optimise where required
· Great verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
