- Permanent role on a 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster FIFO from Perth
- Be the Subject Matter Expert to implement and assure Major Hazard standards (Functional Safety), systems and processes
- Ensure the appropriate systems and processes are in place, maintained and are having an impact in order to manage Major Hazards
- Coach end users on the requirements within the standards and how to meet these requirements
- Facilitate collaboration, feedback and drive continuous improvement to achieve the right outcomes for the site
- Report on performance and in partnership with site lead on the development of action plans
- Support site leaders in developing and participating in effective first level of assurance programs (audits and assessments)
- Champion incident reporting guidelines, promote investigation methods which facilitate learning outcomes including impactful actions and assist in effective management of change – all with the purpose of driving improvement and preventing recurrences
- Natural communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build authentic and impactful relationships with a diverse range of leaders and site teams
- Drive meaningful change across multiple stakeholder groups through influence and genuine connection
- Have an interest in actively listening, understanding, educating and upskilling across multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to translate technical concepts into operational outcomes which develop stakeholder knowledge whilst promoting growth in safety maturity
- Be proactive and self-motivated with the curiosity, courage and care to drive meaningful progress
- Current manual driver license
- Practical experience within the Mining/Oil and Gas/ Petroleum Industry in a site operational or technical role
- Engineering qualification applied in an Operational environment (BEng in Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Control System or Electrical Engineering
- Fixed Plant control systems experience
