We can't wait for you to join our team as a Specialist Technical Officer - Design Drafter - Primary Electrical and bring your fresh perspective to the team.
Opportunity to work on diverse projects including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro and utilities works (transmission and distribution substations, switchyards and lines) for a broad range of clients.
You will work with, and actively contribute to an effective and experienced team who will help you further develop your skills and knowledge.
- Good working knowledge with 2D and/or 3D CAD software (Autodesk / Inventor / Microstation / Solidworks / other).
- 10 years' experience working in a similar environment.
- Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent (or higher).
- Previous experience in an engineering design consultancy environment preferred.
- Previous experience working on electrical utility projects.
- Previous experience mentoring other Design Drafters.
- Experience in some of the following:
- 2D Civil foundation design and detailing
- 2D Structural design and detailing
- Electrical layout drawings
- Electrical single line drawings
- 3D modelling of foundations, equipment or structures
- Working with engineering direction to generate design concepts and drawing.
