Etex Australia manufactures and supplies Siniat wall and ceiling solutions to the local market and is the only Australian manufacturer of plasterboard and metal systems to offer a carbon-neutral opt-in program on a wide range of locally made products.

About the Opportunity
The primary responsibility of this role is to promote the specification Siniat Australia’s products in projects led by architects, builders, designers, and other influential decision-makers, ultimately driving sales and revenue growth for the company. Additionally, the role entails conducting presentations and participating in trade events. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building strong relationships with an existing portfolio of architects, clients, and designers (architects, specifiers and builders)
  • Generating new leads and developing potential opportunities for growth
  • Providing clients with expert advice while promoting the company’s system solutions
  • Building and managing a pipeline of projects and opportunities and securing systems specifications
  • Promote Siniat Australia’s sustainability credentials within the built environment
  • Tracking and managing all client activity and projects in our CRM system
  • Preparing for and facilitating meetings with clients
  • Negotiating and influencing internally within the company  
About You
  • A minimum of five years' work experience in a similar role preferably specification management with inherent Business Development skills
  • A demonstrated ability to win specifications while identifying growth opportunities and developing effective strategies
  • An effective communicator and have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and industry contacts
  • Capable in Microsoft Office and CRM software and have the ability to produce and analyse detailed reporting
  • Knowledge of the green star building requirements and interest in sustainability within the construction industry
  • An existing network within the industry is considered highly advantageous
