Role Description
Full-time Speech/Occupational Therapy positions located in Heidelberg or in Broadmeadows VIC. The Speech/Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with Speech and language delays or disorders, as well as developing and implementing Occupational Therapy interventions. Additionally, the Speech/Occupational Therapist will collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals in order to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Qualifications
A degree in Speech Language Pathology, or Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Speech Pathology or Occupational Health governing bodies in Australia.
Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat children with Speech and language delays or disorders, as well as training in Occupational Therapy interventions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice.
Ability to manage a large caseload and maintain accurate case histories and reports.
Experience working with pediatric population is preferred.
