About the Role
The Department of Education employs approximately 260 full-time speech-Language Pathologists throughout the state. In school settings you will provide services to students with Speech Language communication needs and support to their teachers and families.
Your Opportunity
Apply your professional skills and knowledge in contemporary Speech Language pathology as well as promote the importance of Speech Language communication skills as key areas underlying learning for all students.Collaborate with education teams within schools to deliver high quality Speech Language pathology services which address barriers to learning for students with Speech Language communication difficulties, using a whole of school approach as part of the educational program.

Other information about the Opportunity
* This position may require the incumbent to operate a government vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required (Queensland 'C' class license).
* The incumbent is required to work throughout the service area of the position's base location.
* Occasional overnight travel may be required.
